About Me

Hi!

I'm glad that you are visiting our classroom website. Just a little about me....

This is my 4th year teaching at Carpenter Elementary. I graduated from Peace College in Raleigh, NC in 2011. I decided I wanted to teach at a very young age and just to make sure that I had plenty of practice, I would make my younger brother and his friends sit through hours of "school" when I played teacher at home.

My husband and I have 2 children. Jayden is 8 and Jordyn is 2. They both keep me very busy and are constantly teaching me new things daily. During my free time I enjoy traveling or just relaxing while reading a good book. Some of the fun places that I have visited are Florida (Disney World), New York, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. I have not had the opportunity to visit another country but I would like to in the near future.
